THE TOP 10 OUTFITS FOR A BOUDOIR SESSION
BRA & PANTIES
Bra & pantie sets are the "traditional" go to for boudoir because they are beautiful and classic. It doesn't matter if they are lacy, girlie, dark & edgy or comfy Calvin Kleins, just pick a style that you feel sexy in. Add a garter belt & stockings to elevate your look.
THE WHITE DRESS SHIRT
The more sheer the shirt, the better! They make for the most beautiful silhouette portraits and are really fun to pose with. If you are feeling at all shy, they are also great to wear over your lingerie to start your shoot.
Bring your partners' or borrow one of our studio dress shirts.
BODYSUITS
I believe every woman should own one of these. They are insanely flattering and there isn't a woman on earth who doesn't look incredible in a well-cut bodysuit.
They are an excellent choice for women who want to diminish their tummy area or emphasize their bust, bum or legs.
I love them so much that we have many many bodysuits in our studio lingerie closet.
ROBES
Robes, shawls, and bathing suit covers, these are some of my boudoir favourite things...
Awesome to throw over your lingerie to create interest, gorgeous for silhouette portraits and also can be used to "de-emphasize" areas you don't want to showcase in your session.
JEANS
"I feel the sexiest in my favourite pair of jeans." PERFECT! Bring em!
Jeans are excellent addition to your photoshoot wardrobe. They can be paired with a white tee, wife beater, bralette, body suit or just go topless.
THE SHEETS
If you don't know what to wear or lingerie isn't your jam..... there will always be sheets at the studio! Some of the sexiest photos aren't created with fancy lingerie, shoes or accessories, but the simplicity of a clean white sheet.
LEATHER & FUR
Putting on a leather or fur jacket engages your "bad ass" alter ego. I can't explain it, but the second they go on, the heat turns up and the images are spicy!
So dig through your closet for your favourite jacket and pair it with your lingerie (or nothing at all)!
PROPS & ACCESSORIES
Props and accessories are so fun for photoshoots! They give you something to pose with, play with and add personality to your images.
Hats, gloves, sunglasses, fresh flowers, wedding veil, your wedding dress, jerseys, team jackets, sports equipment, musical instruments, your favourite book, sneakers, body chains.... The list is endless! If it's something that makes you smile, reminds you of the person you love or you just feel fabulous wearing it, bring it!
THE SHOES

Adding an incredible pair of heels will elevate any outfit. Don't get me wrong, you don't need to wear shoes/boots with every outfit, barefoot is gorgeous too, but heels really do any a little "something extra" to the look.
And don't worry if you don't own any! We have over 80 pairs in the studio closet, sizes 5-11.
NOTHING AT ALL
Doing a full or partial nude during your session is so empowering! It might seem intimidating to think about, but I promise, it's not so scary! We start with the outfit you feel most comfortable in and work our way to the nude or "implied nude shots" at the end of your session.
Not all women choose to do "nude" as one of their outfits, it's completely up to you and what you feel comfortable with. And it's not something you have to decide before your session! At the end of many shoots I hear things like... "I am never gonna be this young/hot/confident/fit again, Let's just do it!" or "I want one killer nude photo of myself to look at when I'm 90!"
