Are you getting married this year and looking for the perfect gift to give your man on your wedding day? Book a bridal boudoir photo shoot and give him a gift he will never forget.
Here are some tips and tricks for your photoshoot.
Make sure you book your session at least 6-8 weeks before your wedding day! That way there is enough time to get your images and album ready. ………………………………………………………………………..
Book your session before 2:00pm. Ever noticed you look the thinnest first thing in the morning? Take advantage of that and book a morning or early afternoon session. ………………………………………………………………………..
Have your hair and makeup professionally done. Makeup and hair for boudoir photos is very different from everyday makeup. Vixen Boudoir offers packages with hair and makeup included and the pro-salon knows exactly how to style you for your photoshoot. ………………………………………………………………………..
Tan lines? If you don’t want tan lines showing up in your photos, consider going tanning a few times to even them out or book a spray tan (3 days before your session). ………………………………………………………………………..
Consider getting your nails done, or make sure you have fresh polish on. It may seem like a small thing, but having freshly manicured/polished nails is important. ………………………………………………………………………..
Don’t forget your engagement ring! ………………………………………………………………………………
When putting together your outfits, bring some of your bridal attire. Your veil, garter, wedding shoes or jewellery are a great way to tie in the bridal theme to your shoot. ………………………………………………………………………..
Your wedding night lingerie!!! Bring it! ………………………………………………………………………..
Include your hubby-to-be’s hobbies. Bring his favourite jersey, baseball cap, dress shirt or even ‘borrow’ some of his sports equipment. ………………………………………………………………………..
On the day of your session, be sure to wear lose fitting clothing. Avoid socks or tight elastic bands that will leave lines on your skin.
Lastly, ENJOY yourself! We have a stereo in the studio so we can play your favourite music (feel free to bring a playlist). And if you are nervous, a little liquid courage helps. Vixen has a bar fridge at the studio and Ashley will welcome you with a mimosa or glass of wine when you arrive.
If you’d like to chat about booking a bridal boudoir session or have any other questions just call! Ashley would love to hear from you. 250-306-2517
